Dave DJed our wedding at our family farm this past weekend and he was the perfect fit for our ceremony and reception. From the outset, we felt that Dave really cared about honoring our preferences for our wedding music--working with us on spotify playlists, abiding by the "do not play" list, and offering great suggestions. He also brought a calm and positive demeanor to the day, gamely MCing a few unique segments and going with the flow on a few last minute changes. As a wedding photographer, I've been to hundreds of weddings and experienced all skill levels of DJ's. Dave Clemens is at the very top of the skill list. My wife and I hired Dave for our own wedding, and with a rolodex of wedding contacts there was plenty to consider. But Dave was our first pick from the beginning for a couple of reasons. First, his warm, positive personality could only enhance our big day, his presence at the event would be welcome considering the amount of stress the wedding couple is under. Secondly, Dave is VERY organized. He provided pre-ceremony lists, worked out the evening schedule with us, let us provide custom songs not on his own list, and even helped us queue the processional song to the second! Even if you have a dedicated wedding coordinator, the information Dave provided and planned with us was just as useful and essential for the evening's plan. More importantly, during the event Dave would coordinate with us and the wedding party to ensure the evening's planned events went smoothly and with a perfect rhythm. And they did! During the event Dave was as warm and funny as he is on his morning show. He kept the audience engaged, maintained a perfect rhythm to the evening, and managed to get everyone involved and on the dance floor, not an easy task with ages 4-72! But
he did it and it was an amazing night.

Dave was our host for our 200+ post wedding cocktail party reception. We had a mixed genre of people and Dave did an amazing job at feeling the crowd and keeping the momentum and energy going. Dave was the DJ and Host for Ladies Night of Indulgence. The event supported Grandma's House of Central Oregon with financial assistance and with canned food. We set up appointments with three or four different companies to do the music or our wedding. When we met with Dave, it became instantly clear that he stood out among the others. He was professional, easy to work with, dedicated to making our day exactly as we had imagined, and he's extremely knowledgeable in the event business in general. He offered suggestions and really helped us to coordinate things in a timely, organized manner which made complete sense.
We had specific requests of him to make certain that the ceremony was extremely elegant and romantic. We were very choosy on the music and made very detailed lists of what we wanted. Then, we also wanted to have some fun! We made another list for that! Dave had his hands full with our ceremony because we needed a little bit of everything. We had pop, country, jazz, instrumental, Hawaiian, eclectic ... you name it! And Dave made it flow and come together seamlessly!
There was a particular song that was very special to my Husband and his mother. We searched everywhere for the song, called radio stations, looked on line, etc. Finally, we talked to Dave about it and that same day, he found it
and had it ready to play at our wedding! This was a very special request from my Husband and it meant more than words can describe to have it played for he and his mother on our sacred day.
Dave is excellent at what he does and his love for his work shows throughout the event. We simply could not have asked for a better Master of Ceremonies and DJ! Our friends and family really enjoyed him and the best part was that Dave had taken the time to get to know us as a couple so on our wedding day, it felt only natural for him to be there with us helping to bring it all together.

We hired Dave Clemens to be the DJ at our wedding reception in January 2015 and we were so glad we did. Not only did he and his assistant play our requested music during the reception, but he kept us on track in our timeline and made the event fun and engaging for us and our guests.
